The son of Baron Raoul Kuffner spent his childhood in Diószeg. After the family immigrated to the USA, Peter Karl completed his studies and later worked as an engineer and participated in several NASA projects. In 1951 he married Violet H. Adasunas and died without children on February 17, 2000 in Angelina County, Texas, USA.
