1854‒1917
After the death of his father, David took over the management of the family business and the post of president of the Jewish religious community. Fighting as an officer in World War I, he was several times honored and captured on the Italian front. After the war, he successfully grew his business and was a significant personality in the city’s social life. Tragically, he died in a railway accident.
