Ondrej Bulík


1917‒1978


Born in Szarvas, came from a family of farmers and was a very talented student. He studied at the Szarvas gymnasium and later theology in Sopron. He was an evangelic priest in Pitvaros, where he survived the hardships of World War II and then organised the resettlement of the Slovaks living in the Hungarian municipality to their motherland. He came to Sládkovičovo in 1947 and was the evangelic priest of the religious community until 1952.
